The night before you plan to cook, cut the wings and put them in a sealable plastic bag. In a bowl, whisk together all the ingredients and pour the mixture over the wings. Seal the bag and toss to coat.
Prepare the grill for direct cooking at medium heat.
Place the wings directly on the grill, reserving the marinade in a bowl. Grill the wings, flipping occasionally and brushing with the marinade. Continue the flipping until the marinade is gone and the wings are browned and crispy This should take about 30 minutes. The marinade should not be applied during the last 5 minutes of cooking, and if any is left it should be discarded. Remove the wings to a platter and serve.
